Pull-down-Menü
 
(Abrollmenü), ein Menü, das bei einer Aktivierung durch die Maus oder eine Tastenkombination nach unten »aufklappt«, d. h. eine vertikale Liste mit Befehlen (den Menüpunkten) anzeigt. Menüleisten mit Pull-down-Menüs befinden sich entweder am oberen Bildrand oder sind, wenn sie frei auf dem Bildschirm verankert sind, horizontal angeordnet. Oft wird aus einer solchen Leiste, wenn sie an den Seitenrand verschoben wird, eine vertikal angeordnete Liste von Fly-out-Menüs. Befindet sich eine Menüleiste zu nah am unteren Bildschirmrand, so klappt das Menü nach oben auf. Pull-down-Menüs können hierarchisch strukturiert sein, ein Befehl aus der aufgeklappten Liste kann also ein weiteres Pull-down-Menü, das neben dem ersten erscheint, aktivieren usw. Eine weitere Form ist das Drop-down-Menü.
 
 
Will man ein versehentlich geöffnetes Menü schließen, ohne einen Befehl zu aktivieren, kann man entweder die Escape-Taste betätigen (Esc) oder einmal mit der Maus im Dokumentfenster neben das Menü klicken.
